Brian leads our police accountability work. Our Integrity Unit manages the award-winning police records database CopMonitor, which focuses on holding state actors accountable for misconduct, and creates systems change through advocacy, data collection/analysis, and public education. Prior to joining the office in this role, Brian worked in public policy in San Francisco. He is a native of Louisiana and a graduate of Yale University and Tulane Law School.
He lives in the East Bay with his son and enjoys reading history and politics, rooting for the Niners, cooking/eating southern cuisine, and listening to classic hip-hop.
