Our Volunteer Attorney Program (VAP) provides attorneys with the opportunity to represent clients in an environment where not money – but freedom is at stake.
This program is only suitable for individuals committed to indigent criminal defense and who have courtroom experience. VAP Defenders receive training in all aspects of criminal defense and join our Misdemeanor Unit.
Participation requires a full-time, forty (40) hours per week, in-person commitment for a minimum of four and a half (4.5) months.
